Pultorak & Associates’ ITIL® Version 3 (V3) Intermediate Qualification: Service Strategy (SS) eLearning Course offers an interactive, self-directed learning experience that provides optimal flexibility and value for your training dollars. The real world experience of our team of experts has been captured in a multimedia training application that is designed to provide engaging content in a straightforward, no-nonsense introduction to ITIL® V3. We offer this 21-hour fully accredited course as a Web application or hosted on your eLearning system.It can also be run as a standalone CBT executable that can be downloaded and run for a 1-day trial by clicking here.

 

The SS Certificate is a freestanding qualification, but is also part of the ITIL® Intermediate Lifecycle stream, and one of the modules leading to the ITIL® Expert in IT Service Management Certificate.

The Expert Certification is based on a point system. An online point calculator is available here.

Audience

The SS eLearning Course is intended for:

  • Individuals who require a detailed understanding of the ITIL® Service Strategy phase of the ITIL® core Lifecycle and how it may be implemented to enhance the quality of IT service provision within an organization
  • IT professionals working in roles associated with strategic planning, execution and control within a service?based business model, seeking an understanding of the concepts, processes, functions and activities involved in Service Strategy
  • Individuals seeking the ITIL® Expert in IT Service Management for which this qualification is one of the prerequisite modules
  • Individuals seeking progress towards the ITIL® Master in IT Service Management for which the ITIL® Expert is a prerequisite

This may include, but is not limited to CIOs, CTOs, managers, supervisory staff, team leaders, designers, architects, planners, IT consultants, IT audit managers, IT security managers and ITSM trainers involved in the ongoing management, coordination and integration of strategizing activities within the Service Lifecycle.


Optional Certification Examination

Upon completion of the course, candidates may sit the optional ITIL® V3 Intermediate Qualification examination leading to the ITIL® Intermediate Qualification: SS Certificate. Ninety (90) minutes (120 minutes and the use of a dictionary for those taking the examination in a language other than their first language) is allowed for the closed book, supervised examination which may be online or paper?based (an additional charge is required for the exam).

Prerequisites

Candidates wishing to be trained and examined for this qualification must already hold the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (the V3 Foundation or V2 Foundation plus Bridge Certificate) which shall be presented as documentary evidence to gain admission.
